Re: Potter Problems || Wilkes & Snape
At Wilkes's words, Sévérine's scowl deepened as memories of being hoisted up by her ankle and dangled above the students studying in the library, her skirt falling to reveal her scrawny legs and faded underpants to all present.
Damn Potter for what he had done. And damn Madame Pince for stepping out to the loo at just the wrong moment. Damn them all for letting her tormentors get away with what they had done.
All in all, she was in no mood to entertain Wilkes by recounting what had occurred.
“Half the school knows what Potter did,” she said between gritted teeth. “I'm sure any number of them would be more than happy to let you know what you missed.”

The noise Sévérine emitted in response was halfway between a scoff and a snort. Hardly the most ladylike display, but it was a fairly accurate audible representation of her disdain.
“Use your imagination,” she snapped. “I'm sure you can work it out all on your own. Potter and his cronies are hardly what one could call innovative in their approach.”

Sévérine curled her lip. “Oh dear. I seem to have hurt your feelings. How terribly rude of me.”
She pointedly turned her attention away from Wilkes, dropping her gaze to the roll of parchment before her and picking up her quill. Inn a voice that held equal parts boredom and unconcern, she said, “If you intend to waste your time by attempting to be a ‘proper friend’, please impose yourself on someone, anyone else. I have neither the time nor the inclination to endure your sentimentality.”

"I did hope you would realize this on your own
but being a massive bitch only works up the boys."
Wilkes said this with all the grace of a lady and put
out her cigarette on the bottom of her shoe with all
the boyishness of a common thug. Snape being a
bitch did not rub her the wrong way. It was a bit
annoying at times but now was not one of those.
"Fuck it." Wilkes kicked up her feet onto the part of
the table not occupied by Snape's homework.
